The history of United Credit Union (UCU) began in 1938 when it was established as the Post Office Investment Society.
It has operated as a co-operative ever since. We pool money from our members and use it to extend credit to other members in the form of home loans, personal loans and more. We set interest rates which are lower than the market ones.
