We will consider your personal requirements and financial circumstances and, tailor a loan package to suit your needs, budget and lifestyle. Our loans can be both secured and unsecured and, we accept joint or guarantor applications too. We offer personal loans, short-term loans, caveat loans, car finance and bridging finance.
Helping you pay for the unexpected
Bridging finance helps people access credit based on future income such as a paycheck, an insurance or ACC payout or for a check to clear we can offer you a loan based on that future income. We also offer emergency loans to help pay for things such as unpaid bills and car repair from $400. Once we've received your loan application you can expect a decision within two hours (during business hours).

Applying for a Loan with The Money Man
If you're 18 and over, are an NZ resident, have a photo ID, have a bank account and a stable income - you can apply for credit from the Money Man.
Although we offer loans to the self-employed and people who have a poor or adverse credit history, you will have to prove that you can comfortably afford to repay the instalments.
Exceptions to our bad credit loans
We cannot provide credit to people who cannot prove that they have a regular income or those who are bankrupt or have previously been bankrupt. We have a team of experienced and well-trained professionals that are devoted to our customers and attending to their financial needs. Your online application - easy and quick
Applying for a quick loan from the Money Man can be done online; our aim is to simplify the credit acquisition process for all Kiwis and one of the way we do this is by allowing people to complete credit applications online. Our online application process is easy to complete and should take you no longer than a few minutes. We will ask you for your personal information, contact details, income and employment information as well as ask you to provide supporting documentation where necessary.
We will likely conduct a credit check however, we base our lending decisions on your ability to afford the repayments rather than on your credit history. You can also apply for a loan from the Money Man by calling us or sending us an email requesting us to contact you.
Interest rates and fees at the Money Man
The interest rate that you will be offered depends on whether you are applying for a secured or unsecured personal loan, the loan amount, as well as affordability. Secured loans generally carry lower interest rates and people with very bad credit scores that cannot access credit are encouraged to apply for a secured loan or a find a guarantor to provide the necessary security for the loan.
Once we've processed your information we will contact you, usually within 2 hours, to inform you of our decision and let you know how much we are willing to offer you based on the information we've received. If you want to proceed with the loan we will compile a loan agreement and send this to you for signing. Smaller short-term loan amounts can generally be paid out on the same day if we've received all the necessary information.
